Masseria Celidonia Resort and Relax has the scent of silence, tranquility, infinity. The Salento gate overlooking the Ionian Sea of Puglia, rich in history, tradition and culinary excellence. Masseria Celidonia, built on a gentle plateau, in a strategic point for the control of the territory, was chosen by the Messapi to carry out the first settlement; here they made their furnishings, raised their flocks and in particular shaped the clay, so that many worked pebbles are scattered on the surrounding land. The Masseria was probably built to offer refreshment and shelter according to its proximity to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Pasano, an obligatory stop for the faithful and crusaders who were heading to Otranto to embark towards Palestine. The restoration of the structure has preserved the identity and the vocation of the Territory, the Agricultural Company produces Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Primitive Wine, in the restaurant you can taste the authentic cuisine of the country tradition in the warm Apulian hospitality
